Before you pre-order

Decide between an unlocked model (from the maker or an online shop) and a carrier deal. Carrier pre-orders usually need a Korean mobile plan and ID.
Gifts and benefits often have to be claimed separately after purchase, before a deadline.
Check when pre-ordered units can be activated and the official launch date.
Shipping dates can differ by color and storage.
Korean official stores usually ship only to Korean addresses. Avoid unofficial sellers offering steep discounts or asking for bank transfers.
