What is MUSINSA?
A Korean fashion platform with frequent limited releases (first-come or raffle), promotions and sales.
When the sale opens
MUSINSA announces when the sale opens on each event's page or in its notices, in Korea time (KST). This page does not list specific dates, so check MUSINSA's notice for the exact schedule, then convert the time with the tool on our server time page.
Before MUSINSA opens
- Most big K-pop shows sell to international fans through a separate global booking page (often in English). Check the notice for which page, which time and which fan-club pre-sale applies to you.
- Global pages may require a passport name that matches your ID at pick-up, and payment by international card or PayPal. Prepare these before the opening.
- Log in 10–20 minutes before the sale opens. If your session expires and you have to log in again, you lose time.
- Register and check your payment method (international card, PayPal where supported), address and identity verification in advance.
- Rather than refreshing dozens of times right before the sale opens, enter once, right after the opening time on the server clock. Excessive refreshing can get you temporarily blocked or pushed back in the queue.
- Many sites show a waiting-room queue when traffic spikes. Queues usually go in order of arrival, so refreshing or closing the window may lose your place.
- Some sites limit or block using several windows or devices at once; check the terms.
- Use a stable Wi-Fi or wired connection and pause large downloads just before the opening.
How is it measured? (limits of accuracy)
- Web servers send their clock in the
Dateheader of every response. Browsers cannot read this header from other sites (CORS), so our server (a Cloudflare Worker) sends a light request (HEAD, or a 1-byte GET) to the site's front page and reads it for you. - The Date header has 1-second resolution, so a single reading can be up to 1 second off. We take up to 10 readings, timed to land right when the server's second ticks over, and halve the possible range each time, accounting for the round-trip time.
- The hundredths of a second on screen are the running estimate; the real accuracy is shown separately as ±ms — usually a few tens of milliseconds, more on unstable networks.
- The clock we read belongs to the web server (or CDN) serving the front page, which may differ from the server handling bookings and queues. Most servers are synced to internet time, so the difference is small, but the exact moment the button opens is decided by the site's system.
- Results for the same site are reused for 2 seconds to avoid burdening it, so a precise measurement takes about 15–20 seconds.

How do I check MUSINSA's server time?
Open this page: it reads the Date header sent by MUSINSA's web server (www.musinsa.com) several times, estimates the server clock and shows it in Korea time to 1/100 of a second. When the measurement finishes, the accuracy (±ms) and your device's offset are shown too.
How accurate is the server time shown?
The Date header has 1-second resolution, so we send several requests timed to the moment the second changes and narrow the range — usually to a few tens of milliseconds, depending on your network. It is the front-page web server's clock, which may differ slightly from the server that processes bookings.
What time does MUSINSA open?
Each event or product announces its own date and time in KST. Always check MUSINSA's official notice; Preorders does not guarantee any schedule.
Can't I just trust my phone clock?
Phone and PC clocks are usually synced to internet time, but they can be several seconds off if automatic time is disabled or slow to sync. This page also shows how far your device clock is ahead of or behind the server.
